How I Bought My Dream Car and Paid in Full
After several years of saving up, I bought my dream car and paid in full yesterday. I share because if I can do this, you can do it, too.
Small, consistent actions add up in big ways when allowed to compound over time. I made the conscious act to prioritize stashing away as much $$ as I could every single month in savings the past few years so that someday, I could finally own a brand new vehicle.
Just like I’ve worked tirelessly to create my dream job of working for myself + being able to work from anywhere – I worked to buy my dream car.
My mom is a nurse and my dad a truck driver. I didn’t come from money – in fact, I spent my early 20’s living paycheck-to-paycheck & somehow surviving on a 2k/month salary (before taxes). I got my Bachelor’s in Nutrition/Dietetics. But along the way, I fell in love with the art of helping people. I graduated and then immediately stepped into full-time coaching at a CrossFit Gym and then with CF Seminar Staff.
I didn’t save a penny in my early 20’s. I remember being in awe every single month as I’d somehow scrape by on rent. I’d regularly go to restaurants with friends but never order food because I couldn’t afford to… But man, did I love coaching and helping people. That love for helping people never died.
It’s certainly changed shape over the years: Group fitness coaching. Nutrition coaching. Business coaching. Educational posts, ebooks, programs, YouTube videos, apparel. And of course our baby, Paragon Training Methods.
Still love helping people just as much as I did 7 years ago when I graduated college. Be the hardest worker in the room + go above and beyond to help people. Sets goals and then work tirelessly towards them every single day.
Just remember: You don’t need anyone to light up your world. There is great joy in doing that for yourself.
